The first reaction of Singaporeans when they see the Singapore skyline pictures for the first time is: “Wow, I did not know I lived in such a beautiful city!” I, Claudia Klaver, owner and manager of “My favourite view-SINGAPORE SKYLINE”, had the same reaction when I was first introduced to the panorama pictures by the previous owners of the company in 2007. After having lived in Singapore for more than 18 years I thought that I knew this city from every angle, however the photographs of Mr. Michael Wicander opened a whole new perspective and made me fall in love with this city all over again. Like a unique fingerprint, every skyline is different and Singapore’s modern and diverse architecture, when placed against a dark night sky or an early morning rosy tinted cloud certainly leaves a spectacular impression.

When the photographer Mr. Michael Wicander came to Singapore in 2007 he was more than happy with the trip as he had excellent conditions to take some spectacular pictures from various distances, angles and sentiments. "My trip to Singapore surpassed my expectations, not only from a professional view but also from the way in which the city presents itself to visitors. I enjoyed myself a lot and am fully satisfied with the results."

The print-outs

The Singapore skyline pictures can be printed on photo paper and framed behind glass. However, we believe the pictures have an even better effect when mounted on Dibond which allows showcasing them without the use of a frame.

Another special characteristic of the Singapore skyline pictures is their panoramic format which emphasizes the natural proportion of the skyline.

Most of the pictures are taken during sunrise or sunset when the sky has its best colours and the lights in the offices of the skyscrapers are on. But we do love the daytime and night time Singapore skyline pictures just the same!

Besides the process of “stitching” the individual pictures to achieve the panoramic format, the postproduction of the pictures is kept to a minimum. The pictures show the natural beauty of Singapore’s skyline.
